Whether you are recently or long-term unemployed, we have a range of tools and services aimed at supporting people back into work.
Almost all of our courses are free to people in Cornwall who are unemployed and looking for work. This could be courses to support your search for employment, to upskill you for a change in career or to obtain a license.
Our friendly and experienced mentors provide personal advice and guidance to support you back into work. This can range from helping you to find the right course (either with us another provider) access to course funding and finances for travel, as well as guidance on career paths and opportunities.
We also support our clients with personal barriers to work – such as finance and housing issues, working with disabilities, working with a criminal record, childcare and applying for benefits.
Our drop-in work club is open to everybody at our centre. Here you can access personalised support and one to one training, help with CVs and covering letters, access to computers for Universal Jobmatch and online applications, learn interview techniques and explore job and self-employment opportunities.
If you would like further information or to access any of these services you can pop in for a chat, call us on 01209 200583 or contact us through the website.
