Do you know what your children get up to online? More and more these days we hear horror stories of cyber bullying, identity theft, sexual predators and apps that rack up thousands of pounds worth of bills by exploiting children and teenagers through their tablets, smartphones and computers.
It can be scary and bewildering for parents, especially those who have little IT knowledge themselves. Most parents are unaware of the dangers, let alone how to combat them.
Q&A CIC is proud to announce that we have teamed up with Focus Technology Ltd to bring you Websafe Cornwall, offering free training and advice to keep your children safe online.
Websafe Cornwall has been developed to offer FREE 90 minute, easy to understand sessions to parents and carers who wish to learn more about the risks of allowing children to use the internet unsupervised and unprotected.
Our professional volunteers will explain the threats that children face online, the risks to them, to you and to personal information on your computer and how to reduce those risks through a variety of simple and effective measures.

Thanks to our kind sponsors at Kaspersky Lab, Websafe Cornwall will be giving away free Kaspersky Internet Security Antivirus software to the first 20 attendees at our sessions.
